2-8-09 Today there was a Toddler and Baby Dedication. It is wonderful to have these parents choose First Baptist Church as the place for their children's dedication. As members, we all have a responsibility to welcome and help guide these children as they grow.
10-28-07 Thad & Melissa Rothrock and family are back in their home outside San Diego, CA after having to evacuate due the the California fires. The smoke and ash in the air is still very much a problem. They send their thanks for all the prayers. We all look forward to seeing them in November.
10-21-07 I would like to thank Bro. Charles and the church for their prayers, flowers, cards and food. I would like to tell the Church, God still answers prayers. Thank you for the phone calls. Gwen loved each one of you very much. Your friend in Christ, Johnny Williams.
9-23-07 Congratulations to Dr. James and Sharon Hamilton on the birth of their great-granddaughter, Ella Elizabeth Powell. She is the daughter of Ellis and Lauren Powell and the granddaughter of Dr. Jim and Pam Hamilton.
8-21-07 Congratulations to C.R. and Sandra Evans on the birth of their granddaughter, Jentri Claire Evans. Proud parents are Scott and Marci Evans.

This is so you can write to him, but please keep in mind that you should not include "We miss you" or "We love you" as this will only make him more homesick and could cause him difficulty with other trainees. 8-20-07 We wish our wonderful secretary, Wanda Schrader, the very best in her new job at Texas A & M. We will surely miss her smiling face, her sense of humor, her competency, and her faithful service. WE LOVE YOU, Sharon.
8-19-07 Thank you for your generous donations to the library. With this money, I was able to purchase 20 new books. Betty Berryhill, Church Librarian.
8-17-07 Thank you, First Baptist Church, for all your prayers. I got home at 8:00 tonight, Overton never looked so good. To all that don't have a home church, we would love for you to come see us Sunday. Our church is about love. Thank you again for your prayers. Charlie Perkins
